Ha Long Bay holds cultural and historical significance, with ancient legends and archaeological sites that add to its global importance. Site Sign ↘︎

This three-dimensional site sign informs visitor's about Ha Long Bay's unique characteristics and significance as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

I designed this sign in the form of a dragon as a reference to an ancient legend of Ha Long Bay. According to regional folklore, the bay was created by a family of dragons who descended from the heavens to protect Vietnam, using their tails to carve out valleys and islands, which are now the stunning limestone formations that fill the bay.

Booklet ↘︎

This booklet provides visitors with valuable background about the bay, such as its history, biodiversity, conservation efforts, and tourism activities. However, when read from the back, the booklet duals as a summary of the UNESCO World Heritage program's mission and accomplishments.

Magazine Ads ↘︎

This series of three advertisements are designed to appear in consecutive issues of The New Yorker, with the goal of drawing readers to visit a museum exhibition on the site.
